Comparing "before" and "after" of file edits; plus some other questions

I am new to Jaikoz, but quite impressed. I have a few questions though (hope not overlooking an option):

  1. When running “autocorrector”, I would like to see whether Jaicoz has seend it correctly. How can I see the “old” tag (the one that Jaicoz has changed). Also, is “undo” the only/easiest way to revert changes?

  2. What’s the best way to only scan/correct selected albums. Do I need to select them in the top-menu or can I also “pick” them

  3. If there are “lost tracks” (no meta tags at all) and jaikoz cannot identify them, how can I select only these tracks and associate a musicbrainz-ID to them? I am failing to “select” songs.

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Enable View/Show View Pane, this splits the screen, the top half shows the original values and the bottom half shows the edited values, and scrolling or row sorting is synchronized between the two views.

To undo all to a song, right-click on field in the song and select Save/Revert to Saved

You can use the contect menu (right click) , this works on the ‘selected songs’ whereas the main window works on all visible songs.

You select songs by just selecting fields from each song in the main window, is that what you mean ?

You can also filter the main display to only shows that have not been matched to Musicbrainz using the Filters menu.

If you have a group of songs that you know belong to a particular release and you know the release id, you should select the songs and then use Action:Match To Release:Match Songs to Specified Musicbrainz Release. Alternatively use Action:Remote Correct:Manual Correct Metadata from Musicbrainz to search for possible matches.

Thanks a lot in advance!!![/quote]
