I know that insert is broken, and it really sucks, as for manual correcting it’s key. Is there any chance it will be fixed soon?
also, it used to be that selecting series of cells, and hitting delete cleared them, now I must select an empty cell, copy it and paste it over full cells.
Is there a new hotkey for deleting information other than delete?

I need to take some time to look at this, but the problem arose because different users had different perceptions about how it should work and I’m unclear as to what is correct.

Nothing has changed here, the ‘Delete’ option is still available, and in my tests it still works on Windows using the ctrl+delete hotkey. Best if you send your support files to check fpr any specific OS/Java incompatabilities.
