I bought Jaikoz for Mac looking for something to replace ID3Tag under Win. Jaikoz seems to have a rather different philosophy though. What I would like to do is: select multiple mp3 files, normally a folder, and add a new genre to all the files selected (this should be possible with ID3v2 or am I wrong here?), if not possible change the genre for all files at once. How can I do that?

You use the copy and paste metaphor. So for example enter the correct genre in one field, then select that field and bring up the popup men or use the shoprtcut key top copy the field. Then select the genre fields you want to paste into, and select paste. You can even copy the genre to non genre fields if you want and jaikoz will automticalyy a handle the conversion.
