Catalog Exists but not found

I am looking at some music my father has ripped from his LP collection. I have previously tagged it with Yate (Mac App). When tagged it saved a Catalog Number with it from Discogs (OM 017).

I have just begun been running his HUGE collection through Songkong and it did not find this album (and others) even though a tag existed. Running it through the Single Album option it was also not found but a number of incorrect alternatives were brought up.

Whilst not a problem I am just trying to understand why?

Hi, we dont actually use existing catalogno to match an album because the vast majority of our customers music collections don’t contain catalognos,and even when they do the formatting is inconsistent and they are not guaranteed to be unique, we use various other methods.

I assume you mean this release?

The fact that single album match did not return the allbum either points to a significant difference between your tracks and the album but I cannot say what but if you run Create Support Files I should be able to work why it didn’t match.
