I would like to run through my entire music library ensuring that each folder has a cover.jpg (or folder.jpg) in place. Is there any way of instructing SongKong to do this without modifying any actual music files?
Perhaps “fix songs” on the entire tree followed by an undo would work? But it seems excessive for the task.
Yes, if you set these options:
On Basic tab set For songs already fully matched to Update Metadata only
On Format tab add all fields to Never modify or add these fields
Ensure Save front cover art to filesystem is set to Yes, and overwrite existing artwork files in folder or Yes, but do not overwrite existing artwork files in folder
It will not attempt to rematch any songs not already matched and it will not modify any tags but will create folder.jpg files to match existing album cover artwork in tags
