I have retagged a box set to appear as a box set (or 54 discs) which it does perfectly in Linn Kazoo - however in Roon it appease as around 30 'discs" som appear as multiple discs - is there a way to getting it to appear as a single ‘boxset’ in both? thanks

Very difficult to say, the first thing would be to run a SongKong status report over this and then run Create Support Files so I can see the data.

Hi, it seems that most songs have no been matched to MusicBrainz. or have beem matched to individual albums rather than the boxset, so the data is certainly not consistent from a Roon point of view
and there seems to be two versions of the box set, 52CD version and 30CD version so Roon has matched to the 30 CD version
Boxset matching is generally hard, but in Jaikoz have you tried just loading the folder representing the album and then using Action:Match to Album/Match Songs to specified MusicBrainz Album to force match to the preferred box set ?

The way I have matched for Kazoo is to make sure that the Album title is consistant as our the Album Artist act , the Disc numbering system and the Alternative names for each disc so they show separately as individual discs in the box set - You were very helpful in getting me to that point!! (but it it time-consuming!!)
I have not come across Action:Match to Album/Match Songs to specified MusicBrainz Album - I assume that could work for Roon - but then may foul everything up for Kazoo as most of the albums couldn’t be matched by SongKong
I would recommend you make a backup of this folder, but I think its going to be all or nothing, either Jaikoz matches all the tracks to the boxset or it doesnt, and you can check the results before Save
