I want to add “Shift Sub Folder to Base Folder” action to Autocorrector action list. Could you suggest a way I can do this please?

But this doesnt actually modify the file it justs changes where the folder path is split between basefolder and subfolder. If yours is always incorrect you can modify how the files are split when they are first loaded using the Preferences: General : Base Folder : Specify the Number of Folders above this selection to set the Base Folder to

However, what is the main purpose of such division: basefolder and subfolder then? I cannot use basefolder and subfolder in file/folder naming actions. What is the main idea?
You can use subolder in folder naming actions, (Action/File and Folder Correct:Correct Subfolder from Metadata) but not the base folder. So the purpose is to allow you to rename your folder hireachy based on your metadata without effecting your root folder(s)/
Is this action configured via Preferences->File and Folder Correct->Rename folder from Metadata? Or this setting is for different action?

As a feedback, I would suggest to devise and implement uniform terms for actions across Jaikoz. For example: “Rename folder from Metadata” could be renamed to “Correct Subfolder from Metadata”.
