Auto Correct options?

I have been playing around with the Auto Correct options under the Manipulators tab in the preferences and I have to say, Damn, I am really impressed!!! You have done a killer job there. I can almost do a full album in just one click now.

I have just a couple of questions or requests if they are not possible.

1. I noticed I can update the subfolder and file names with the auto corrector but not the base folder. Is there some way to add in the auto corrector to update the Base Folder to the one that is defined in the preferences -> General -> Base Folder.

2. What is the differences between Save Changes and Save and Move in the Available tasks?

3. Save and Move if Matched, if I choose that task, does that mean I can get it to only save if it was able to find a match in musicbrainz?

4. I would love to see a Task for the Save Artwork to Filesystem that I can add after the Save and Move task.

If you just want the base folder for every file to be set to everything you are actually saying ‘Save and Move’ to Preferences:Save:General:Move Folder, so you just need to set this folder and use ‘Save and Move’ task

Correct, uses the Move Folder as described above

Good to know. The save and move will save me an extra step since I use the same base folder for all the files i finish tagging.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing the software. It seems to do everything I want and quicker than music brainz picard. Only thing holding me back is the album art to file system. I want to have the cover as a jpg labeled ‘cover.jpg’ so I can use it to change the icon of the folder containing the album.

Actually, it would be amazing if you could add a script to do that also:

option:

• save artwork to containing folder (specify name: …‘cover.jpg’)

• Iconosize the containing folder.

This would be perfect for osx cover flow in the finder.

if it is to much, just artwork to fold and then I will manually change the folder thumb to the album cover as currently I am clicking to view album on amazon and dragging into folder for each album…time consuming.

You can use File/Save Artwork to Filesystem and that will save all artwork in music files into the same folder as the music file. But the file is called folder.jpg instead of cover.jpg so you would have to mass rename those files at the moment, but the option to change the filename has been requested before so I think it will be added to Jaikoz at some point.
