For some reason, when I save a file that has artwork larger than 500 x 500 pixels, it doesn’t appear in itunes or on the actual mp3 icon (whereas with mp3s with artwork less than 500x500, the album art shows up as the file icon).
I read about this issue somewhere, with a rough workaround, but not sure if it was ever resolved? I have tried changing my settings (max artwork size , etc) but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

There were some issues with iTunes that were resolved by changing some preferences in Jaikoz, however I never investigated the 500x500 pixel point, I though that was a red herring but maybe not.
There currently no way in Jaikoz to resize images, so if there is a problem with images larger than 500 pixels I suggest the following workaround (assuming you order your songs one album per folder)
From Jaikoz run Save Artwork to Filesystem
Ue an external tool to resize images that are too large
From Jaikoz delete artwork from your files
Then run Local Artwork Correct to add the resized images from your filesystem
back into the files.
I’ll do some investigation to see if there is an issue with 500 pixel sixed images.
