I am using the Album as part of a folder path. However, when there is a “/” in the Album, this obviously causes problems. The album is entitled “Hello Today/Hello Tomorrow” and the folder ends up Hello TodayHello Tomorrow
I would like to change the “/” to a " - "
I added this in a Word replacer, but it does not seem to work in the local correct album. Is there something else I should do?
Actually you dont really want to change the value of Album in your metadata, just the value of Album when it is part of your filename path. Currently / is filtered out when you create a new filename based on metadata but on the Preferences:File and Folder Correct:File and Folder Naming you can specify Replace ‘From’ Character with ‘To’ Character and set From to / and To to -, this character translation happens before characters are filtered out.
You may want to keep the existing rules or rremove them.
