Album Art?

Hi - just purchased Jaikoz … looks great so far BUT doesn’t it auto download album art? ? ? that was my main goal & I should have looked first, but I just assumed it would pull art too ?? Am i missing something? thanks

Jaikoz doesnt do autodownload of album art yet, but it does get the ASIN (Amazon Id) from MusicBrainz if there is one in which case you can use the following url to view the image, and hence download it.

i.e.
http://amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000036R8

But adding work on auto download of album art has already started, and will be released before the end of February

Thanks Paul - that’s good news So far Jaikoz has been working well - just slow to download my 9000 (!) id tags … but a heck of a lot faster then me doing it by hand …

The ASIN is one of the fields held in the User Defined Text Info Column, because that is where they are held in ID3. In a later release I plan to add another view seperated fro ID3 providing ASIN with its own distinct column.

I am working on the album art downloader now and it will be in the next release. (behind schedule I know)
