I love how Jaikoz can match my music to discogs releases. It’s the only program i’ve found that can do this is OS X so far. What I like most about it is discogs info on genre and then styles. But when I use the “update metadata from discogs” nothing happens How do I save this info on my files
Adding info from discogs to the tags
Update Metadata from Discogs just updates the information for those songs already matched with Discogs Ids with any extra information that has been added to the release on Dicogs since the original matching was done. You need to use Correct Metadata from Discogs
But also check the options in Preferences:Remote Correct:Discogs because genres and styles are rather subjective by default Discogs will not overwrite your songs genre field if they already have a genre field, butn you can modify this.
