Is there any optimal relationship (by trial and error testing) between available system ram and heap memory setting?
I have 8gb ram plus Windows ReadyBoost but it seems to me that SK v1.9 is slower than previous builds and the database still appears to become corrupted on large fix batches.
Suprised, SongKong is definently quicker for me. Ive found increasing the heap doesnt seem to increase performance particulary, may be worth sending me your logs.
Have you tried using a local MusicBrainzServer VM yet.
After analysing your logs the fact that all songs are in one folder causes a problem when searching for Discogs matches, because discogs searching is release based there is little point in you using it, you need to disable the Match:Search for Discogs option and I think that will solve the problem.
