Example
- Select Music folder
- Select Add to MusicBrainz task
- Check the value of the Max Number of Albums to seed option. Seeding opens a tab and takes some cpu power, there is not much point seeding more albums then you intend to work on during your session
- Start task
- Progress shows count of the potential albums found, and the albums seeded
- Once complete the report shows a list of potential albums missing
- In the Errors and Warnings tab it also details folder that did not have match to MusicBrainz but did not have enough or good quality metadata to be considered a potential album to add to MusicBrainz
-
And for each seeded album, there will be a tab ready to add the album to MusicBrainz, if we are not already logged into MusicBrainz you will need to login.
-
We can then check the details of the release, make adjustments and submit the release
- Once submitted we can use Match to One Album to link our album to the MusicBrainz album just created.
