in the lates windows version, i have in the preferences: “Musicbrainz / Format / Never modifiy these fields”
There i have “Albums”
…but jaikoz will change an Album from “some text 1 - some text 2” into “some text 1 some text 2” removing the dash.

Hi, Never modify is configured separately for MusicBrainz and Discogs, which has advantages and disadvantages, so I think in your case they are being changed from Discogs, need to modify Preferences:Remote Correct:Discogs:Never modify these fields as screenshot below shows.
