ID3v23 tags are not recognized correctly anymore

The mp3 files saved with the recent version of Jaikoz (3.3.3) are not correctly recognized by my music player (Sony NWZ-X1050) anymore. This problem is new (perhaps since version 3.3.2?). When I re-save the files with MusicBrainz Picard, they are correctly displayed again. m4a files work without problem.

There was a problem with some files that used ID3 unsynchronization in 3.3.2, but this is fixed in 3.3.3. ‘File/Force Save’ the file in Jaikoz 3.3.3 to resave it and it should now be okay.

Unfortunately even new files (mp3), decoded with XLD, and loaded directly in Jaikoz 3.3.3 are not saved correctly.

I’m sure this is a lmitation of your Sony Player as nobody else has a problem, the question is what does Jaikoz do that Sony doesnt like.

When you say not saved correctly what do you actually mean. In Jaikoz ensure you have the version column displayed and try changing to another version ID3v23 or v24 and see if that makes any difference, try modifying the options in Preferences/Save/iTunes Comptability. Save the changes using ‘Force Save’ to ensure the file is actually saved even if the metadata hasn’t changed.
